Our Story
In 2013, Jose Guerrero was working long hours on an overnight job. While he worked he had plenty of time to think about his life, where he was going, and how to make it count for something. He knew he wanted to improve the lives of others, but just didn’t know how to make this dream a reality.
For an entire year, he worked at night and applied to jobs, and went to interviews during the day. He rarely got more than a few hours’ sleep and it was a grueling schedule. But he did what he could to make sure he was able to put food on the table.
After some time, it became clear that his interviews were not leading him to a fulfilling job. He wanted to help people, spend time outdoors, and use the greatest gift that God gave him – his hands. He had the unique ability to envision projects and build them with his own hands. And it soon became clear that the only way that he was going to be able to live a life that he found fulfilling was to build his own business. He was a hard-working, ethically strong, and business savvy person, and if the world wasn’t going to give him a job, he was just going to have to create it.
But first he needed experience. He quit his overnight job, joined a construction company, and joined a world of heavy, laborious, physical work. It wasn’t easy, but he enjoyed watching his hard work turn into completed projects. Completing a project gave him a sense of accomplishment, but it was always the project that put a smile on people’s faces that he cherished the most – that was the greatest reward for him.
Jose slowly started to surround himself with a strong, reliable, skilled, and ethical team. A team that knew the industry inside-out. Ever since he worked those long overnight hours, it had been his dream to own his own business. He knew that once he had the perfect team surrounding him, it was time. It was time to create something, to build something, to craft something. Projects that could last a lifetime, perhaps forever. A business. A business called Evercraft.
And that is how Evercraft came to be.

“There were three teams that worked on my condo. The first team prepped the unit, taping plastic to the carpet and flooring underneath the walls that were to be painted. They also placed heavy paper on the carpets in the rooms that required drywall repair. The second team was the painters. They did an excellent job of masking ceilings and repaired areas that had incurred damage from water or drywall damage. A team of three painters arrived daily at 9:00am and left at 4:30pm. The team moved quickly and efficiently and applied two coats of paint to all walls in all rooms. They encouraged a walk through to examine their work and fixed any issues that I thought needed a touch up. The painters were done in three days. The final team was the clean crew. They removed the plastic and paper from the floor and removed all debris from the unit. Overall, I think they did an amazing job. Initially I thought it was a little pricey but the ultimate result was well worth the money and the time spent. Thank you Evercraft Remodeling Group!”
